Varieties of Momos

The Momo is the dish from Tibetan origin. In 1950 this dish was most popular among Tibetans. A very interesting thing about this recipe that the trans- Himalayan traders brought this dish from Tibet and sell in Nepal. Now it became a most popular fast food in Nepal.

However, Momos is the type of steamed bun created with white-flour-and-water dough. Other than the Tibetan/Nepali community this food has become popular in Sikkim and Darjeeling in India. Even some Tibetans restaurants serve this recipe in the United States and the United Kingdom.
As we already mentioned, Momos is the type of steamed bun created with white-flour-and-water dough with a little amount of Baking Soda for a doughy texture.
